The Unicarscan UCSI-2100 is a recommended interface for TuneECU. ​The Unicarscan is also the recommended interface for the BMW Motoscan Motorcycle diagnostic and service reset App available for Android devices. The unicarscan offers full support for all the Motoscan app features and functions, far exceeding the level available with ELM327 based devices.

The Unicarscan UCSI-2100 Includes:

• IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE!! Pairing instructions! Please Read to avoid unnecessary problems when pairing the Unicarscan interface to your device
• When pairing the UCSI-2000 adapter via Bluetooth on an Android device, the latest smartphones will display 2 devices: "UniCarScan" and "UniCarScan iOS". To operate with the Android "UniCarScan" must be paired. The"UniCarScan iOS" connection is only for iOS powered device from Apple - iPhone and iPad and is not supported by Android apps. To use the adapter with Apple devices, no coupling is required under Settings and is not possible. Open directly the settings of the Car Scanner or BimmerCode App and select "UniCarScan iOS" Adapter. The MotoScan app for BMW motorcycles is not available for iOS devices and is currently not planned.
• For the app and software developer
• The developers of Apps for Android, iOS and Windows are welcome to use the adapter for their own apps. We will gladly provide the required documentation. Most commands are compatible with the ELM327 instruction set. However, the UniCarScan adapter offers the following advantages over all other comparable solutions:
• The firmware is developed by us internally and can be adapted to the needs of the developer as needed
• The UniCarScan UCSi-2000 adapter supports the sending of long messages as well as the CAN bus via the K-Line, completely copying the segmentation of the CAN messages during transmission, so that you do not have any problems with timings when sending the long messages for coding or other special functions have to. By default, the ELM327 and compatible adapters can only send 8 bytes. UniCarScan, however, has the full length of 255 bytes.
• Our adapters undergo strict CE, FCC and RoHS testing and we not only have certificates, but also detailed test reports about them.

The adapter is suitable for Android, iOS and Windows. You do not have to use different adapters for different operating systems, as most other vendors do.
